I'm looking for new opportunities in a close knit team of IT professionals. I'm Knowledgeable in SOX and ESAS compliance, as well as how to apply and monitor these frameworks for an audit friendly UNIX environment.
I have over 11 years of enterprise data center experience with a strong focus on disaster recovery.

  • Responsible for our centralized global backup environment using Symantec Netbackup. Our environment included one Quantum i2k tape silo, one Adic Scalar 100, one HP-UX master server, four HP-UX media, one Red Hat Linux Media server backing up nearly 400 servers.
  • Responsible for architecting a 13 node Red Hat Linux oracle RAC cluster from concept to production during which time I lead a small team of one System admin and two Oracle database engineers.
  • Responsible for moving the company off of clear text protocols ftp and telnet to a more secure ssh and sftp solution.
  • Research and apply all security and OS level patches for our UNIX/Linux Environment.
  • Assist the operations staff with OpenView and Netbackup monitoring.
